BRICK SAND
This includes sand such as 'White Brick Sand', 'Skye White Brick Sand', 'Blended Brick Sand' and of course 'Brick Sand'. These sand's are clay based fatty sand's that are ideal for mixing mortar for any type of brick laying for your home landscaping tasks. Due to its texture, it is also effective for above-ground swimming pool linings.
PACKING SAND
This sand is used in construction for compacting under house slabs and also for concrete driveways. It is a very cost effective filler-type sand.
WASHED SAND
There are 4 types of washed sand;
- Paving Sand
- Concrete Sand
- Medium White Washed
- Fine White Washed
All of these sand's have been 'cleaned' through a specialise process. They are considered graded sand's. They are all perfect for mixing concrete, mixing with grout, and laying pavers and tiles.
PLASTER SAND
This is a specialised mixture of sand made by D'abaco's.
This particular type of sand is difficult to find as not many building suppliers have this sand in stock. It is used for the rendering of masonry walls.
COARSE RIVER SAND
This is a very clean, coarse sand. It is considered a Propagating sand. It encourages water flow when mixed through soil.
